The ALS 200 Series Ultrasonic Edge Sensor are suitable for the detection of all materials with the exception of sound transmissive ones (e.g. no open weave textiles). They are factory set, even though there is setting of gain ( may required after so long time to set 5 V o/p) so that no adjustements are necessary. The main advantage of theALS series is the reliable detection of transparent films.
